Provides support to African/Black American and Hispanic/Latino(a) students in achieving academic success. Presentations include academic and life skills. In collaboration with Hispanic Student Association, ASPIRE provides a series of workshop named "Que Pasa" that allows students to reflect on issues that matter to them.
Targets the globalization needs of the campus, as well as the needs of international and study-abroad students in support of their academic and personal lives. Select presentations include coping with culture shock, re-entry preparations, and intercultural communication.
The goal of this program is to train campus “Gatekeepers”, faculty, staff and students who regularly interact with others in the course of their work, in how to effectively recognize and refer persons in distress to campus and community resources.
