Interested in joining a Fall group? Schedule the triage appointment with the front desk. Your triage counselor, or existing counselor or psychiatrist, will then refer you to a group screening appointment to determine if you will be a good fit for the group. Group spots are limited so contact us quickly.

Work together to develop awareness of personal and relational patterns; to view life experience from many angles; and to create new ways of seeing, thinking and doing.

Wellness Recovery Action Plan ®  Thursdays | 2:45-4:45 pm

Participants develop personal plans for maintaining wellness and for addressing internal and external signals of increasing distress. Group emphasizes hope, personal responsibility, education, self-advocacy and support.

Sexual Orientation and Gender Groups

LGBTQIA Empowerment Wednesdays | 3:30-5:00 pm

Explore issues related to sexual orientation and gender identity, and gain support in integrating your identity with other areas of your life.

Trans EmpowermentWednesdays | 2:00-3:30 pm

Explore the challenges and joys of integrating one’s gender identity and expression. Participants process their unique journey through self-awareness and exploration leading towards a greater sense of self-acceptance.

Anger ManagementMondays | 3:00-4:30 pm

Learn new information about anger and practice self-regulation training and cognitive reframing activities through experiential discussions.

AWE: Academic Wellness and Empowerment Support GroupWednesdays | 1:15-2:45 pm

Develop effective study skills and stress management tools through discussions about performance anxiety, time management and procrastination.

Bereavement Support Thursdays | 3:00-4:30 pm

Integrate the bereavement associated with a significant death in your life and use knowledge about yourself and the grieving process to maximize coping skills.

Coping with Medical Challenges Mondays | 1:00-2:30 pm

Promote coping with personal medical challenges through integration of mind-body healing from a psychological perspective and shared support from others.

Making Peace with Food Multiple Times & Days

For women with an eating disorder who would like to examine their relationship with food and their bodies, and who are in or have been in individual therapy.

Recovery SupportMondays | 3:00-4:30 pm

Develop stress reduction and relapse prevention strategies, and gain strength from others in maintaining recovery. People in recovery from all addictions are welcome.

Sexual Assault Survivors: Embodying Our Lives Thursdays | 1:00-2:30 pm

Women survivors of an assault are welcome to begin or continue their healing journey while empowering them through connection with other survivors.

Success Not Excess Tuesdays | 3:00-4:30 pm

Discuss your use of alcohol and other drugs in a non-judgmental setting. Develop an understanding of drugs of abuse and potential effects, identify warning signs for developing an addiction, and clarify values.

Mindful Living and Coping Skills

Reducing Stress with Mindful Movement Mondays | 11:00 am-12:30 pm

Learn body-based mindfulness and moving meditation practices such as gentle stretches, mindful walking, chi gong and other mindful movements to help reduce stress/anxiety, regulate emotions, and improve concentration.

Sailing Through Storms Mondays | 1:00-2:30 pm

Learn and practice DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) mindfulness and distress tolerance skills in a safe and supportive environment to enhance your ability to get through difficult times.

Taming the Anxious Mind Multiple Times & Days

Learn and practice Mindfulness Meditation, a time-tested method for helping people quiet their minds, feel more relaxed, and nonjudgmentally focus on the present.
