Academic Confidence Mon. 1:00-3:00 pm

Develop effective study skills and stress management tools through discussions about performance anxiety, time management and procrastination.

Bereavement Support (Peabody Hall) Thu. 3:00-4:30 pm

Integrate the bereavement associated with a significant death in your life and use knowledge about yourself and the grieving process to maximize coping skills and healing. Starts in February.

Coping with Medical ChallengesWed. 3:15-4:45 pm

Promote coping with personal medical challenges through integration of mind-body healing from a psychological perspective and shared support from others.

Making Peace with Food (Peabody Hall) Multiple Times

For women with an eating disorder who would like to examine their relationship with food and their bodies, and who are in or have been in individual therapy.

Recovery Support (Peabody Hall) Mon. 3:00-4:30 pm

Develop stress reduction and relapse prevention strategies, and gain strength from others in maintaining recovery. People in recovery from all addictions are welcome.

Sexual Assault Survivors (Peabody Hall) Thu. 3:00-4:30 pm

Women survivors of an assault are welcome to begin or continue their healing journey while empowering them through connection with other survivors. Facilitators: Jennifer Stuart and Liza Bott

Gain awareness with fellow first generation college students of the impact of privilege and oppression, and learn strategies to enhance emotional and academic well-being.

Taming the Anxious Mind Multiple Times

Learn and practice Mindfulness Meditation, a time-tested method for helping people quiet their minds, feel more relaxed, and nonjudgmentally focus on the present.

This cognitive behavioral therapy group has been shown to have high success rates in treating depression and feelings of inadequacy. Manuals are provided to support you during and after the group.
