Sexual Assault

Sexual Trauma/Interpersonal Violence Education

Nearly one in four college women experience a sexual assault or attempted sexual assault during their four years in college. One in five college students – both men and women – will be involved in a violent dating relationship during that same time. STRIVE seeks to change this through education and outreach to the university community. STRIVE peer educators are available to work with student organizations, classes, athletic teams, and any other group that wants to learn more about these issues. We hold open, nonjudgmental forums where we explore questions such as “Why does this happen?” and “What can we do?”
